We are closed for the year and are no longer taking fig orders due to Barry.

Answers to Frequently Asked Questions

What Are We?

Ridemore Berry Farm is a U-pick berry farm. We provide a family environment where you can come out and pick ripe berries right off the bush. You can even taste the berries as you pick them to make sure that they are the best you have ever had.

What Do We Charge?

There is NO admission / picking fee. We charge for produce that you pick, by the pound. See our price list on this website. In addition, you are welcome to play with the animals.

We take several forms of payment - cash, credit cards or checks.

We Do NOT Spray

We do not use chemical sprays. Blueberries do not require us to spray. The other produce is also not sprayed, so we do not know until harvest what made it. Please subscribe to our newsletter to know what we have and when.

Arrival / What to Wear

We open at 8:00 AM on Saturdays and Tuesdays, and do not allow early picking. That said, if you want blackberries, it is best to arrive just before 8:00 to get a bucket. They are very popular and often picked out by 8:30. Blueberries are plentiful so arrive anytime. It is best to wear comfy clothes, sneakers and a hat, along with sunscreen. There is no shade in the fields. Also, good to wear some insect repellent. We don't have many but there are ants and sometimes deer flies.

Horses and Other Animals

There are horses, a baby mule, chickens and even 2 goats on our farm for you to experience. We encourage you (and kids of all ages) to interact with the animals by providing treats for the horses and goats for you to feed them. Just be careful, keep your hand flat and have fun! Also, if you want bring your dog, please have him / her on a leash. We have a couple of very friendly dogs that hang out with us, one is off leash but is our farm dog, Andy.

We have a number of tables and chairs on the farm to allow for picnics in the shade of our beautiful oak trees. So bring your lunch (or even breakfast!) and enjoy after a morning of picking berries and veggies. Water and soft drinks are available along with free frozen flavor ice for the kids.
